Cortis has been working like crazy so we talked him into taking a couple days off and going down to Corpus Christi for spring break.
We had some interesting storms on the way down which made for interesting skies.
We visited the Aquarium where they had a little alligator that you could touch.
And a BIG alligator that you could not touch.
We saw some shows.
Look, even a photo of me!
I know it's an aquarium but they had a whole wild animal show with birds and big mammals and little rodents.
This was a cool bubble that popped up into the sea horse tank.
Here's a good shot with a bunch of sea horses and Adam.
Silly kids at lunch.
Sea Otter enclosure. And just let me tell you how difficult it is to catch sea otters in my camera with its digital 1 second delay. This is an amazing capture.

We really wanted to see the beach. Which can be a problem during spring break in Corpus Christi because so does the rest of Texas. We managed to sneak onto a beach on Mustang Island and enjoy the water for a bit. The weirdest part is how they let everyone park on the sand. That is, of course, because there are almost no parking lots. It was so weird to see cars as far as the eye could see sitting on the beach with the music blaring.

We had a GREAT time. It was about 70 degrees and a steady cold wind was blowing off the Gulf but we still played in the water.

We had a good time finding some shelled creatures and watching them dig into the sand.
