We've done a home co-op preschool this year for Adam. We trade off with some friends and have a little school 2 days a week. This year he went with Amelia, Vaughn, Lucy and Jazzy. The first half of the year his friend Matthew was in his school but they moved to Houston :(
We took a field trip to PetSmart. The people were great there and showed the kids a lot of different animals, like hamsters...
and frogs...
and snakes...
and lizards...
and a chinchilla (I think)
Adam has had such a good time with his friends and always was eager to go to "school" (as he insisted on calling it, not "preschool").

What a fun idea! Chinchilas are so cute and SO soft! I didn't know they sold them at Petsmart.
