My baby is not a baby any more. Today was Adam's 3rd birthday. I was a little worried that we wouldn't be able to celebrate him in the way he deserves, because wednesdays happen to be really busy days, but it turned out to be a lot of fun.
Playgroup was at the Brushy Creek Splash Park and that is always a lot of fun. Adam ran through the water and had a great time.
After the big kids got home from school, we had a little birthday party. He'd asked for a Spiderman birthday, but since I'm not very good at piping Spiderman I went with spider cupcakes. 
We had an outdoor party. There was a little pool, painting on butcher paper on the fence, a big tub of bubbles and wands, playdough, and stick the spider on the web (a variant of pin the tail on the donkey). Adam loved the little swimming pool and so did big brother Phoenix.
