Heidi finished her 2nd Quest Independent Study Project for school. This year she studied Prairie Dogs. It was a lot easier this year since she could read the books herself. She did a great job. Here she is at the Quest Fair.

The three panels of her tri-fold board. She included all her essential questions (top left, too small to read), photos of prairie dogs, a map of their habitat range, and a drawing of a burrow.

Here are the puppets she made for her puppet show about prairie dogs.

This is the diorama she made in glass with aluminum foil and markers. The largish item in the lower right is a prairie dog. There is a bluish snake in the center. And one of the other pieces is the entrance to the burrow.

The last two videos are Heidi giving her presentation for the class and her puppet show. I was so happy with her presentation. She did a great job telling about all the cool things she learned.
