Church Shout Outs

I don't have any photos of this but I thought I'd share a couple of stories of my kids and shout-outs at church.

Last week, we went to a baptism of a friend (Jaydon Davis) and Heidi had brought a doll with her.  Adam was holding the doll and Heidi was trying to quietly get it back from him.  Brother Wood was giving a talk and was speaking about Jesus and His baptism.  He got to a point and asked the baptisee (?) who baptized Jesus.  At that point, Adam shouts to Heidi "DON'T GRABBIT!"  Bro. Wood doesn't miss a beat and says, "That's close, but it was John the Baptist."

Back in February, we went back to California for the funeral of my Grandfather.  During the funeral, the Bishop was giving a talk about the plan of salvation and Jesus Christ.  At a point, he asked a rhetorical question, "And what did they find when they came to visit Jesus' tomb?"  Out of the audience comes Phoenix's voice, shouting, "NOTHING!"  It was so funny.  And how impressive that Phoenix was listening that closely during a rather long funeral service.  In case you were wondering, no one was upset at Phoenix.  The whole funeral was really beautiful and joyful.  Grandpa was 95 and had lived a long, wonderful life and died surrounded by his loving family.
