So back in January, we took a trip to Pedernales Falls State Park.
We have had such a cold winter so I was expecting another cold day but it turned out to be beautiful and warm.
We went to the park with Mike and Cheri and their kids.
It was so warm that all the kids got in the river and were soaked. Here you can see the boys throwing rocks wearing only their dripping wet pants.
Adam was wearing even less.

It was a fun place for the kids. Lots of sticks and rocks.
Falling in the water was just a bonus.
It was a long fun day.
Going home was very funny. I had packed lots of sweaters and jackets because it was going to be so cold. Then I felt kind of foolish because I should have packed swim suits. But as we stripped all their sandy, dripping clothes off, I was glad we had all those sweaters to wrap around them for the hour-long drive home.
