Snow Day

On February 23, 2010 we finally got some snow.  It's been a cold, wet winter.  Plenty cold enough and plenty wet enough, but this was the only day we got it.  It snowed during the day so by the time the kids came home from school there was some snow to play in.

So you can see it wasn't a ton of snow but definitely enough to play in.

Everyone got right to work building a Texas snowman.  You can tell a Texas snowman from the regular variety by noting all the grass poking out from all surfaces.

Heidi with her life-size snowman.  She gathered together a bunch of the neighborhood kids and used some ingenious engineering techniques to get this dude together.

Adam had a great time playing and throwing the snow.  He got cold pretty quickly since we don't really have the right clothes for snow-play.
